Forklift Operator/Receiver

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with warehouse supervisors and team members. *Duties* - Operate forklifts, including Hi-Lo and clamp trucks, to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. - Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling of products. - Maintain accurate inventory records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS). - Conduct routine inspections of lift trucks and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns. - Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies to ensure a safe working environment. - Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges. - Assist in training new employees on safe forklift operation and materials handling procedures. *Requirements* - Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center. - Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment, including lift trucks and clamp trucks. - Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred. - Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and workplace safety. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Must possess a valid forklift operator certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring. Schedule will be Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri 12pm-11pm and Wed, Sat, Sun off.
