*Programming & Operations Coordinator* Company: Hype Socks LLC Location: Fort Payne, Alabama Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site Starting Pay: $14.00-$16.00/hour, based on experience *Position Overview* Hype Socks LLC is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Programming & Operations Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Fort Payne. Approximately 70% of this position will focus on sock programming, including preparing, organizing, maintaining, and coordinating machine programs for customer orders. The remaining responsibilities include light coordination of fulfillment and finishing operations, along with serving as an on-site point of communication for our off-site COO. This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable with computers and technology, enjoys solving problems, and wants to develop a specialized technical skill set in manufacturing. *Primary Responsibilities* Sock Programming - 70% * Create, prepare, organize, and manage sock machine programs * Work from customer designs and production specifications * Coordinate programming priorities with the production schedule * Maintain organized records of programs, designs, and revisions * Make program adjustments when production requirements change * Communicate with technicians, fixers, knitters, and management * Help troubleshoot programming-related production issues * Ensure new orders are programmed and ready before production * Develop a strong understanding of our machines, programming systems, yarns, sizing, and manufacturing process Fulfillment Coordination - 15% * Help organize orders ready for shipment * Coordinate priorities with fulfillment employees * Ensure orders move through fulfillment on schedule * Identify delays or problems and communicate them to management Finishing Department Coordination - 5-10% * Communicate weekly priorities and expectations * Help ensure completed socks move through finishing efficiently * Identify bottlenecks or quality issues * Participate in a short weekly meeting with the finishing team COO & Operational Support - 5-10% * Provide regular updates on programming and plant priorities * Communicate production or staffing issues requiring management attention * Follow up on assignments from the COO * Help ensure leadership instructions are communicated and executed * Keep communication organized between the manufacturing floor and off-site management *What We’re Looking For* The ideal candidate is: * Comfortable with computers and learning new software * Technically minded and a strong problem solver * Organized and detail-oriented * Dependable and able to work independently * Comfortable managing multiple priorities * Able to communicate effectively with production employees and leadership * Interested in learning the technical side of sock manufacturing Experience with manufacturing, textiles, knitting machines, graphic design, production software, or machine programming is helpful but not required. We’re primarily looking for the right combination of computer aptitude, organization, reliability, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
