Territory Sales Associate
Job OverviewWe are seeking a driven and hands-on Territory Sales Representative to grow our Route Sales and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) business within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, independent environment and enjoys a combination of sales, merchandising, and operational responsibilities.You will be responsible for managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, delivering and merchandising products, and supporting team development within your territory.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Account ManagementDevelop and execute territory sales strategies to drive growthBuild and maintain strong relationships with customersIdentify new sales opportunities and expand existing accountsProvide product knowledge and solutions tailored to client needsDeliver accurate sales forecasts and performance updatesOperations & MerchandisingLoad, transport, and deliver products to customer locationsMerchandise products on shelves and displays to company standardsPerform store resets and ensure optimal product placementMaintain inventory and support warehouse operations as neededTeam Support & LeadershipTrain and mentor DSD sales reps and merchandisersProvide day-to-day guidance and support to assigned team membersCollaborate with sales leadership to meet territory goalsCustomer ServiceAddress and resolve customer inquiries and complaintsEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through ongoing communicationQualificationsMinimum 3 years of DSD, route sales, or retail experience (required)Strong merchandising knowledge and ability to train othersProven track record of building and maintaining client relationshipsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionComfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environmentValid driver's license and ability to operate a medium-duty box truck (~20 ft)Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move products up to 60 lbs regularlyLoad and unload delivery vehicles without assistanceFrequent driving, standing, bending, and liftingComfortable working in varying weather conditions and non-climate-controlled environmentsWork Schedule & TravelEarly morning start times, including predawn hoursRoute-based travel with occasional overnight staysMust be willing to support other territories as neededPreferred QualificationsResidence near the center of the assigned territoryPrevious experience in beverage, food distribution, or CPG industriesWhy Join Us?Opportunity to manage and grow your own territoryDynamic, hands-on work environmentCareer growth potential within sales and leadershipApply TodayIf you're a motivated self-starter who enjoys a mix of sales, operations, and leadership, we want to hear from you!
