Position: Alloyd Tech ILocation: DeKalb, ILShift: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PMPay Rate: $22.95/hourSummary DescriptionThe Alloyd Technician I is responsible for safely operating vacuum and pressure thermoforming machines to produce high-quality blister packaging. This role focuses on machine setup, tooling changeovers, quality control, and maintaining efficient production flow.What You'll Be DoingFollow all safety protocols and maintain a safe, organized work environmentVerify job orders, materials, and tooling meet customer specificationsRetrieve, inspect, and prepare tooling components for productionPerform machine changeovers and make necessary adjustmentsFine-tune press settings to ensure high-quality outputRecord production data including setup, teardown, and quality checksWork closely with packers to maintain product quality standardsPerform minor maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issuesMaintain housekeeping standards in the thermoforming areaSupport reclaim quality checks and follow reclaim proceduresWe'd Love to Hear From You IfYou have experience operating machinery, including setup, changeovers, and troubleshootingYou have a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands-on workYou are detail-oriented and quality-focusedYou work well in a team environment and communicate effectivelyYou have experience in thermoforming, injection molding, or manufacturing (preferred)Required Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicatorsBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate clearly in EnglishWillingness to learn and follow technical proceduresPhysical RequirementsAbility to operate thermoforming equipment safelyLift and move tools weighing 45–65 lbsPush/pull up to 60 lbs at chest or waist heightStand for extended periods (8+ hours)Comfortable working in heat, humidity, and production environmentsAbility to work around typical manufacturing hazardsBenefitsAt TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support overall wellbeing.
