This role is located in Mount Pleasant, TX 75455 Responsibilities: Prepares surfaces to be painted, which may include removing prior finishes through chemicals, grit blast, or other methods. Calibrating spray equipment to ensure proper application. Applies paint to interior and exterior surfaces using a paint gun. Masks, removes, covers, or otherwise protects hardware, trim, and other non-painted surfaces. Perform inspections of finished paint job. Maintains a clean work area by proper storage and disposal of paint products. To remove rust, scale, dirt, debris, grease and other contaminants on the surface of the metal of the trailers To blast the entirety of the trailers A and B surfaces to a light gray color and to a blast profile of 1.5 mm before they exit the blasting area To blast certain C surfaces on certain models of trailers Qualifications: Prolonged periods of standing and painting, while wearing a hazmat suit. Frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and airborne particles. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to distinguish among colors.
