LGBTQIA+ Fellowship in the Department of Family and Community MedicineThe Department of Family & Community Medicine of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is currently accepting candidates for the position of The Jefferson Fellowship in LGBTQIA+ Health.This position is for a 1 year non-ACGME accredited fellowship position in LGBTQIA+ Health to be hired as a 0.6 clinical FTE, full-time clinical faculty member to split clinical time at Jefferson Family Medicine Associates and Jefferson Pride Care (Haddonfield, NJ).Responsibilities will include:Providing clinical care in the areas of family medicine, HIV primary care and LGBTQIA+ health including gender-affirming careEstablishing and maintaining a panel of primary care patients, managing chronic health conditions, acute conditions, and preventive care.Additional educational clinical experiences working in HIV primary care with FM, IM, ID clinicians, LGBTQIA+ care with affirming medical subspecialists, behavioral health and allied health professionalsEngaging in quality improvement efforts and clinical services program development across the Jefferson enterprise in LGBTQIA+ careAt-home telephone call 5-9PM once monthly in a large DFCM pool of call participants.Working as part of interprofessional team (including MA, RNs, behavioral health, social workers, population health specialists) that provides patient-centered care.Teaching resident physicians and medical students in the area of LGBTQIA+ care & HIV careRequirements: Qualified applicants will hold a MD or DO degree and be board certified, or eligible, in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
