These initiatives are designed to support high-performance computing, advanced analytics, and real-world AI applications.The organization offers a fast‐paced, high‐performance environment that values operational excellence, disciplined execution, and the ability to scale complex infrastructure in support of long‐term growth.Due to the nature of this project, additional details will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.Position Overview The Senior Project Cost Accountant/Controller plays a critical role in managing the financial integrity of large-scale, mission-critical construction projects.This position is responsible for overseeing project cost accounting, tracking financial performance, and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple active project sites. The role partners closely with Project Controls, Procurement, and Finance leadership to support decision-making and maintain strong financial discipline across the build.This is a hands‐on role in a fast‐paced, high‐growth environment where accuracy, structure, and scalability are essential.Key Responsibilities Project Cost Accounting & Financial ManagementManage project cost accounting across multiple large-scale construction sitesTrack capital expenditures, budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-completeEnsure accurate cost allocation and adherence to established cost coding structuresFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare work‐in‐progress (WIP) reports and project financial statementsAnalyze cost performance and provide actionable insights to project and finance leadershipSupport monthly close, accruals, and financial reportingCross‐Functional CollaborationPartner with Project Controls and Procurement to align cost tracking with contracts and executionReview and validate subcontractor invoices, change orders, and coding accuracySupport alignment between financial systems and project dataProcess Development & ComplianceDevelop and maintain scalable, auditable accounting processes and controlsEnsure compliance with GAAP and construction accounting best practicesSupport internal and external audits with accurate documentationQualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field7+ years of project or cost accounting experienceExperience supporting construction, infrastructure, or large capital projectsStrong understanding of cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reportingAdvanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar)PreferredCPA or CMA designationExperience supporting projects exceeding $1B in valueJoint venture accounting experienceBackground in fast‐paced, high‐growth environmentsStrong process improvement and financial modeling capabilitiesLocation & StructureRemote, with preference forDallas–Fort Worth or Houston, TXLight travel as neededContract role with potential for long‐term conversionWhy This OpportunityWork on large‐scale, mission‐critical AI infrastructure projectsHigh visibility across finance and project leadershipHands‐on ownership of project financialsOpportunity to build and improve scalable accounting processesAbout Augmentis Augmentis is a specialized talent solutions firm focused on delivering high‐impact professionals across Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.We partner with organizations operating in complex, high‐growth environments—supporting critical hiring initiatives with speed, precision, and a consultative approach.#J-18808-Ljbffr
