This position will be NCCDP (National Council for Certified Dementia Practitioners) certified and execute CDP training. They will evaluate training and program effectiveness and help deliver execution to Legend Senior Living standards.This position will have many opportunities to travel to an assigned region for training and educational purposes.Responsibilities--Trainer/EducatorTrain and Educate associates on all Legend Senior Living standards, programs, and processesProvide post-training session reports and follow-up on progress outcomesAssess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managersBecome a certified trainer with NCCDP and develop and deliver annual CDP training company wideDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of guidelines and regulations for operations in each stateAssists in developing and updating company training content for all company training programsParticipate in and lead the Train-the-Trainer Workshop for Work Friends; analyze Work Friends effectiveness and implement change as needed to enhance program successLocate, prepare, update and create Legend Senior Living training documentsImplement and execute training evaluations consistently for all training eventsUse a variety of teaching and delivery methods to engage all learning stylesIdentify Associates that have demonstrated knowledge, ability, & desire for growth and advancementWhy we should be your “home away from home”Work environment: Our focus is to maximize the potential of every life we touch.
