Logistics Intern (Part Time)

Job Title: Logistics Intern Location: Temple, TX (On-site)Reports To: Logistics ManagerPosition SummaryMooreCo is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Logistics Intern to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field who are looking to gain hands-on experience in logistics within a manufacturing environment.The Logistics Intern will primarily support freight bill reconciliation and assist with freight quoting tasks as they develop their skills. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to learn about logistics and supply chain operations.Primary Responsibilities:Review, reconcile, and process freight invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company proceduresAssist in freight quoting for small parcel, LTL, and truckload shipmentsSupport internal reporting and freight cost analysisMaintain accurate records of freight charges and resolve billing discrepanciesCommunicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams as neededParticipate in additional logistics or supply chain projects as assignedRequirements:Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic understanding of accounting or logistics processes is preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with dataStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyAvailable to start part-time before the end of April 2025, with the ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from May through August 2025MooreCo Inc. is the leader in the educational and commercial markets for visual communication products, technology support equipment, and office furniture.
