Junior-Mid WPF Software Engineer

Kforce has a client in need of a Junior-Mid WPF Software Engineer in Carlsbad, CA.Responsibilities:Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and production software toolingCollaborate closely across software, hardware, and firmware teamsDevelop Windows-based GUI applications using modern desktop frameworksBuild software modules for hardware communication, data storage/retrieval, and data processingApply multi-threading concepts where appropriate (nice to have, not required)Produce clear documentation to support design verification and validationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field3+ years of relevant professional experienceExperience with GUI development, object-oriented programming (C++ or equivalent), algorithms, and computer communicationsHands-on experience with C#, WPF, XAML, and Microsoft Visual StudioExperience working with the .NET Framework and SQL or NoSQL databasesStrong written, documentation, and verbal communication skillsA strong willingness to learn, adapt, and expand technical skillsetsOpen to hands-on work with hardware; Medical device experience is a plus, but not requiredAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environmentProven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing software for medical devicesFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWSExposure to additional languages such as JavaScript or Python The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
