Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Greensburg, PA Type: Contingency Compensation: $0.00 Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40.0    ResponsibilitiesCollaborate directly with tool and die machinists to learn and support tooling, mold, and manufacturing processesAssist in the design, modification, and improvement of mechanical components, tooling, and moldsSupport foundry-related activities, including casting processes, mold design considerations, and material selectionCreate and update engineering drawings, specifications, and documentationParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and manufacturabilityTroubleshoot mechanical and manufacturing issues alongside engineering and shop-floor personnelFollow established safety, quality, and engineering standardsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 3 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience (internship or co-op experience may be considered)Basic knowledge of foundry operations, metal casting processes, and casting moldsWillingness and ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environmentStrong interest in learning from experienced tool and die machinistsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsBasic proficiency with Siemens NX softwarePortfolio of past projects available for review and discussion during interview processSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
