This role is ideal for someone who excels at troubleshooting, supporting complex systems, and collaborating across engineering and operations to keep applications running smoothly. You will play a key part in maintaining system performance, resolving technical issues, and helping our teams leverage technology to meet business objectives.Summary: The Application Support Engineer role is responsible for administering applications critical for the operations of the business and resolving technical support tickets related to these systems. This role works closely with engineering and operations to troubleshoot problems, identify requirements, apply systems changes, and support users via user interface changes or changes applied via SQL or other simple scripts.Responsibilities:Respond to and resolve application support tickets in a timely manner that meets our internal SLA goalsPerform system configuration changes following change management proceduresExecute simple SQL scripts to investigate and resolve data-related issues or meet configuration needsTroubleshoot application behavior and identify root causeEscalate complex issues to engineeringMaintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and changes via our ticketing systemSupport system stability by following established processes and controlsDevelop and maintain deep functional knowledge of the applications used in business operations to effectively support end usersDocument and improve processesPerform quality assurance validationsPay Range: $60,000 - $75,000Location: This is an onsite role in Grapevine, Texas. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor work visas.Skills & Qualifications:Experience in a technical application support, production support, or similar operational roleStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application and data issuesSimple working knowledge of SQL for querying and updating dataFamiliarity with change management processes and operational controlsAbility to follow documented procedures while exercising sound judgment when troubleshootingStrong written communication skills for documenting issues, resolutions, and escalationsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple support requests while meeting SLA expectationsComfort working cross-functionally with engineering and operationsDetail-oriented with a focus on system stability and accuracyAbility to learn and support multiple applications used in daily business operations
