Receiving Utility - Copperworks

Division: SDI Lafarga Copperworks Overview: Entry-level position that assists in all functions of receiving and scrap bay. Responsibilities: Unload trucks of scrap metal and raw material Assist in coordination of receiving activities Unload shipments of parts and supplies Sort incoming scrap metal Perform routine inventories of products Qualifications: Ability to make critical decisions Must be detail oriented Ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Possess a self-starter quality for seeking input and details from resources Solid mechanical aptitude and a desire to problem solve Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events Must have good math skills, as well as oral and written communication skills Must be able to lift 75 pounds Possess a willingness to work in cold/hot outside conditions as well as hot inside conditions Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
