Job DescriptionCompany seeking a Senior Level Accountant to join a leading team in the area. This is a great opportunity for a professional who is driven, desires professional growth and wants to contribute to the success of an organization.Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:Maintaining accurate and complete financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for multiple companies.• Performing bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, and other account reconciliations for multiple companies.• Review & ensure accurate bi-weekly timesheets and payroll processing, maintain employee PTO records, personnel files, assist with unemployment claim and wage garnishments, and other related tasks.• Maintains vendors and subcontractors W-9's, COI for G.L. & W.C. Insurance and prepares annual 1099's.• Supporting external audits (G.L. & W.C.), including preparing documentation.• Preparing and analyzing financial statements (balance sheets, profit & loss, cash flow statements).• Providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.• Supervising colleagues and providing guidance and training.• Tax Compliance: Assisting with tax preparation and compliance.• Collaborating with stakeholders to develop budgets and forecasts, and monitoring budget performance.• Performing variance analyses, and other duties as assigned.Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Similar3+ years of public accounting experienceExperience in Construction related field is a plus but NOT requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickbooksHighly organized with high attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlinesTo be considered, please apply with a resume.
