DescriptionClient Service Representative - Veterinary ReceptionistDemanes Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team of dedicated veterinary professionals at our hospital in Peoria, IL.CSRs are valuable members of our veterinary team, and we treat them as such. As a CSR, you will be the client's first and last impression of Demanes. It's important that all clients feel welcome, safe, and comfortable which is why it takes a special person who can engage with both humans and animals alike with compassion, patience and understanding. The primary responsibility of a CSR is to be efficient in front desk operations while effectively bridging communication between pet owners and our veterinary team.If you're ready to thrive in an environment that encourages learning and continued growth within the profession, we would love to hear from you!Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Greet and welcome each visitor and assess their needsHandle incoming phone calls/emails and determine the urgencyPerform client check-ins and check-outs, including reviewing invoicesCommunicate visit expectations to clients, assist owners with pet management to minimize unsafe situations and client's stressProcess and document financial transactions accuratelySchedule appointments based on client expectations, patient medical requirements and clinic needsManage emergency situations and walk-insRespond to online requests for products, prescriptions or client questions in a timely mannerMaintain cleanliness in the lobby areas, exam rooms, and general stocking of client or patient areasRecommend products available to clients through our facilitiesSkills & Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredAt least one year of professional experience in a veterinary clinical setting (CSR, kennel attendant, vet assistant, other), preferredExperience with Microsoft Office suiteExcellent communication skills and the ability to problem solveAbility to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectivelyTeam player, have patience and maintain a positive attitudeMust be able to lift up to 30 poundsCompensation & Benefits:Compensation is from $15.00 per hourPaid time off-inclusive of sick, personal, and vacation401K with company matchMedical, vision and dental insurance with multiple optionsComplimentary Short-Term DisabilityComplimentary Life InsuranceCompany Sponsored Employee Assistance Program (Headspace)Long Term Disability optionProgyny-Fertility and Family Building SupportDigital Physical Therapy & Musculoskeletal ProgramsTeam Member Discounts for Pet CareReferral Bonus ProgramDailyPay on DemandFor over 30 years, Demanes Animal Hospital has been a trusted partner in pet health for the Peoria community.
