Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoDemonstrates dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needsEffectively communicates with co-workers and customers in a positive mannerKeeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when neededMaintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulationsPerform DOT maintenance on road tractors and trailersPrepares and maintains accurate records of services and repairsAny other tasks as assigned by supervisorWhat You'll NeedAbility to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weatherAbility to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, attention to details and find root causes for issuesCapable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing and kneelingExperience with hydraulics/pneumatics, wiring, and working on heavy equipmentProficient in reading and understand technical documents, diagrams, and service manualsWelding, cutting, and fabrication skillsElectrical and hydraulic troubleshootingDOT and AC 609 preferredYour EducationHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
