Sr. Genesys Developer

Sr. Genesys Developer*Contract with potential to convert*Fully RemoteOptomi, in partnership with our premier client, is seeking a Sr. Genesys Developer to support a large-scale migration from Genesys Engage to Genesys Cloud CX, leading platform configuration, integrations, IVR/routing development, CI/CD implementation, deployment, and production stabilization, with opportunities to influence architecture and engineering best practices.Job Must Haves:5+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring Genesys platforms, specifically Genesys Cloud CX and CX CloudStrong experience with contact center platform implementations, including routing strategies, queues, skills-based routing, agent configurations, and administrationExtensive IVR and call flow development experience in production environmentsExperience building and supporting API integrations (REST, SOAP, webhooks, event-driven architectures)Strong programming/scripting experience with JavaScript, Python, C#, .NET, Java, or similar languagesExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and deployment automationExperience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCPKnowledge of SQL, databases, data mapping, and middleware integration platformsUnderstanding of telecommunications technologies including SIP, WebRTC, and CTI integrationsExperience supporting UAT, production cutovers, and hypercare activitiesStrong troubleshooting, communication, and Agile/Scrum collaboration skillsJob Nice to Haves:Google Dialogflow / Google CCAI experienceAI/ML integration experienceGenesys certificationsWorkforce Engagement Management (WEM) configuration experienceExperience serving as a technical lead or solution architect
