They make healthcare more accessible by simplifying complex care plans, connecting care teams and meeting patients where they live. Through their conversational AI, patients use their voice to interact with their digital care companion, who proactively gives medication reminders, symptom checks, behavioral nudges and even engages in friendly conversation to ease loneliness. The client uses radar to put the patient in context and passively monitors their activities, including heart rate, breathing rate and sleep stages, all without a wearable. The result is informed and timely intervention that drives improved clinical outcomes, reduced care delivery costs and a more satisfactory healthcare experience for all.Job Summary They are building a breakthrough healthcare device that uses radar sensing to track vital signs (heart rate, respiration, sleep stages) and integrates with an LLM‐powered companion chatbot. Backed by a strategic partner, they're on a mission to transform senior care by reducing costs and improving outcomes.ResponsibilitiesBring up radios and sensors: LTE, Bluetooth, Wi‐Fi, radar.Develop and maintain drivers and board support packages.Implement reliable OTA update and monitoring systems.Debug and stabilize firmware in a multi‐sensor environment.Optimize for resource constraints (memory, threading, power, concurrency).Collaborate on backend/LLM API integrations.Qualifications And Job Requirements3–5+ years hands‐on firmware development in C/C++ on embedded/RTOS/Linux systems.Recent track record of shipping embedded systems (not just legacy experience).Experience with radios and sensor bring‐up (LTE, BT, Wi‐Fi, radar).Strong debugging skills with tools like JTAG, logic analyzers, crash analysis, watchdogs.Knowledge of resource‐constrained environments.Startup‐ready: thrive in a fast‐paced, no‐ramp‐up environment.Located in Latin America.Fluent English.What we offer100% Remote Work: Enjoy the freedom to work from the location that helps you thrive.
