We deliver OM&S services to PTR bombing and gunnery (B&G) ranges and electronic warfare (EW) ranges, supporting remote threat emitters, mission data processing, range communications, weapons impact and electronic combat scoring.We are currently hiring a Site Quality Control Inspector to perform systems maintenance and operations of range systems at our Electronic Scoring Site (ESS) Snyder, TX basic duties include (but are not limited to):The Site QCI will work closely with the local Government's CORs, site management, host-base functional leaders, and others to ensure the success of the Quality program. The QCI is responsible for managing the QCP, safety programs and overseeing environmental programs at their respective site. Their responsibilities include:Reviewing and evaluating program effectivenessPerforming contract compliance, technical, functional and no-notice inspectionsProviding technical advice to the maintenance functionServing as the Primary POC with the local CORs for all Government Surveillance Reports or CDRsConducting Standardization/Evaluation for all Range Systems Operators/Range Control Officers (RCO) and conducting a minimum of one no-notice evaluation of each operator/RCO annuallyEnsuring compliance with Configuration Control ProceduresImplementing the QC Procedures and QC checklists (Section 5.0) to provide detailed guidance on contract task evaluationsIdentifying and documenting deficienciesMonitoring corrective action and initiates follow-ups on less-than-satisfactoryReports to QCM WeeklyThis inspector implements QC and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations. Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions. Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner. Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished. Communicates deficiencies to proper persons. Maintains QC files. Documents results of all inspections.Work Conditions:Conditions will vary as work is to be performed outdoors as well as indoors.You must be able to climb ladders, work in elevated areas and confined spaces and have the capability to work on high-voltage and radio-frequency circuits.You must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.Job demands will require physical dexterity and flexibility and you must be physically able to sit, stand, kneel and climb.Overtime will be required at times to support /Experience/Skills:High School diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with ISO 9001 quality management principles and the process approach.Relevant experience/understanding of the work involved in PTR Operations & Maintenance activities along with maintenance and logistics control functions.Ability to interpret and apply Statement of Work requirements, Air Force directives and technical communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in written knowledge to accomplish computer data information processing, general knowledge of Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) and proficient using MS Office software programs.All candidates will be required to pass a consumer report and/or consumer investigation to include SSN, Driver Record and Criminal Background Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
