Beverage Route Sales & Service Specialist

Your day on the routeSun up, keys in hand, and a list of customer stops. You’re the dependable face our clients count on to keep their coffee and tea programs humming. On days you’re covering a route, you stock beverage stations, confirm product freshness, and make sure every cup tastes the way it should. Between stops, you handle invoices and inventory, flag opportunities, and keep the Area Sales Manager (ASM) informed. When the team needs coverage, you jump in to provide route relief without missing a beat.Schedule & drivingTypical Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; overtime when neededDriving Requirements: Valid Driver's License requiredMust be able to complete a successful DOT physicalWhat you’ll doDeliver, stock, rotate, and replenish coffee, tea, and related items at each scheduled stop when assigned a route.Keep brewers and beverage stations clean and operating; perform at least one daily CQC (Cup Quality Check).Ensure every customer on the daily set schedule receives on-time delivery and service.Manage route paperwork and cash flow: invoices, on-hand inventory, and collections each day you run a route.Grow revenue per stop by closing distribution gaps on core items, executing seasonal and LTO promotions, applying pricing updates, and maintaining stations to standard.Escalate customer concerns promptly to the ASM and pursue swift resolution to protect satisfaction and loyalty.Alert the ASM to inefficiencies, dissatisfaction, or new opportunities discovered while providing route relief.Assist the ASM with inventory cycle counts, warehouse tasks, and customer-related follow-ups as assigned.Learn brewing equipment basics and make minor adjustments or repairs as needed.Consistently follow the Farmer Brothers customer call process ("The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell"); make sales calls when time and opportunity allow.Pitch in where needed, including warehouse operations, accounts receivable collections, and customer service support.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentClean, strong driving recordRoute delivery experience is a plusCustomer service background preferredFoodservice industry experience desiredSkills that set you up for successMechanical comfort with hardware and software; quick to learn company systems.Sharp at identifying customer needs and proposing solutions.Committed to company goals; uses sound business judgment in the field.Proactive at spotting problems, issues, or opportunities and acting on them.Strong self-awareness; adapts approach based on impact on others.Active listener and clear communicator with customers and leaders.Relationship builder who establishes trust and rapport quickly.Independent, decisive, and able to work with minimal supervision.Collaborative and effective with both customers and coworkers.Compensation & benefitsWe are committed to pay transparency and to providing fair, competitive compensation.
