This teacher will deliver standards-aligned instruction, build strong relationships with students and families, and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure all students are successful.The ideal candidate believes all students can achieve at high levels, is committed to continuous growth, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Curriculum DeliveryPlan and deliver engaging daily math instruction aligned to Indiana state standardsUse a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of diverse learnersDifferentiate instruction to support students performing below, on, and above grade levelCreate learning experiences that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and student engagementClassroom Culture & ManagementEstablish and maintain a structured, respectful, and positive classroom cultureBuild strong relationships with students while maintaining high behavioral and academic expectationsFoster a classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to take academic risksAssessment & Student GrowthMonitor student progress using formal and informal assessmentsAnalyze student data to guide instruction and interventionProvide timely feedback to students and families regarding academic progressCollaborate with intervention staff and support teams to ensure student successCollaboration & CommunicationPartner with colleagues, instructional coaches, administrators, and support staff to improve student outcomesMaintain consistent communication with families through conferences, ParentSquare, phone calls, and other communication methodsContribute positively to the school culture and professional communityProfessional GrowthParticipate in professional development, coaching, staff meetings, and collaborative planningRemain open to feedback and committed to continuous improvementSupport the overall mission and vision of Matchbook LearningQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education or a related fieldValid Indiana teaching license or eligible out-of-state certificationStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environmentFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environmentCommitment to educational equity and student achievementPreferred QualificationsTwo or more years of teaching experienceExperience working in urban, diverse, or historically underserved communitiesDemonstrated success driving student growth and achievementFamiliarity with educational technology and digital learning toolsExperience analyzing student data to inform instructionBenefits & SupportAt Matchbook Learning, we believe investing in educators matters.
