Working under physician supervision, you'll be an essential part of a sports medicine care team that keeps athletes strong, safe, and performing at their best. This full-time, direct hire role welcomes new graduates and offers paid overtime.What We're Looking ForEducation & Licensure:Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field (required)Master's degree preferredNew York State Certified Athletic Trainer license (required)NATABOC Certification (required)BLS Certification (completed during clinical orientation through RQI system)Experience:New graduates encouraged to apply1-2 years in a school or outpatient orthopedic/physician practice setting preferredSkills:Strong leadership and multitasking abilitiesExceptional communication and customer serviceProfessionalism and discretion with confidential patient informationProficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferredYour Day-to-DayYou'll apply preventative care techniques and supportive devices for sports-related injuries while guiding injured athletes through conditioning and reconditioning programs. You'll communicate regularly with physicians, coaches, and families to coordinate care and provide education on injury prevention. Your responsibilities include providing event coverage and emergency response as scheduled, documenting care plans and progress accurately, and educating school staff and athletes on best practices. You'll maintain flexibility in work locations and schedules based on athletic and clinical needs across schools, clinics, and sporting events.Ready to Apply?
