IMG Academy provides growth opportunities for all student-athletes through an innovative suite of on-campus and online experiences:Boarding school and camps, via a state-of-the-art campus in Bradenton, Fla.Online coaching via the IMG Academy+ brand, with a focus on personal development through the lens of sport and performanceOnline college recruiting, via the NCSA brand,providing content, tools, coaching and access to a network of 40,000 college coachesThe Athletic Trainer will provide Athletic Training Services to student athletes under the direction of the Head of the Athletic Training in accordance with state athletic training practices.Position ResponsibilitiesTreat athletic injuries including prevention, assessment, treatment and reconditioningMaintain accurate records of injuries, treatments and provide forms as appropriateConduct an initial assessment of an athlete's injury or illness in order to provide emergency or continued care, and to determine whether they should be referred to physicians for definitive diagnosis and treatment.Assist with athletic training covering multiple sports with athletes ranging from 13-19 years old.Apply protective or injury preventive devices such as tape, bandages, or braces to body parts such as ankles, fingers, or wrists.Assess and report the progress of recovering athletes to coaches and physicians.Collaborate with physicians in order to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs for athletic injuries.Evaluate athletes' readiness to play, and provide participation clearances when necessary and warranted.Responsible for following all HIPAA regulations and guidelinesResponsible for following all OSHA guidelinesAdhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codesOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMaster's Degree in Athletic TrainingNational Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Training certification3+ years of demonstrated experience in athletic trainingDesire to work collaboratively with colleaguesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred SkillsHigh School Athletic Training experienceBilingualPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs.Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.Must be able to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is requiredBackground Requirements:Requires a background check upon offerRequires a drug test upon offer Benefits:As a full-time member of our team, you will enjoy a comprehensive offering listed below.
