The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Project Manager in the day-to-day management, coordination, and execution of contract requirements. The APM helps ensure uninterrupted service delivery in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and facilitates effective communication, staffing coordination, and operational oversight. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in managing daily contract operations to ensure compliance with scope, quality standards, and schedules. Assist with coordination between KS leadership, Quality, Safety, and Environmental personnel to support integrated contract execution. Help monitor performance metrics, staffing levels, and service delivery to ensure alignment with contract requirements. Provide day-to-day operational support to supervisors and field personnel as directed by the Project Manager. Assist in preparing for and supporting KO and COR requests, inspections, site visits, and reviews. Help track action items, follow-ups, and corrective actions related to contract performance. Support continuity of operations during Government working hours and assist with after-hours coordination as required. Serve as a secondary point of contact for operational matters when delegated by the Project Manager. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting contract operations, workforce supervision, or project coordination on contracts of similar size, scope, or complexity. Experience working on government service contracts preferred. Demonstrated ability to support management decisions, coordinate activities, and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Additional Requirements Must be available on-site during Government working hours. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support contract operations.
