Learning Technology Specialist (Contract)Learning Platforms / LMS-LXP SupportPosition SummaryThe Learning Technology Specialist provides hands-on operational and technical support for enterprise learning platforms. This role focuses on system stability, platform updates, and user support-particularly during LMS transitions and ongoing platform optimization.This is an execution-focused role supporting LMS/LXP environments, not leading platform ownership or migration strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Administration & SupportAdminister and support enterprise LMS/LXP platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Degreed, Workday)Configure courses, curricula, learning paths, assignments, and user audiencesPerform quality checks on content, metadata, and overall learner experienceProvide Tier 2 support for platform issues, including troubleshooting and escalationOperational ExecutionSupport content uploads, testing, and validation (SCORM/xAPI)Assist with release testing, regression testing, and post-release validationExecute system configuration changes based on defined requirementsReduce operational backlog (tickets, data cleanup, reporting requests) Data, Reporting & Integrations (Support-Level)Run and validate standard LMS/LXP reportsPerform data validation related to completions, assignments, and user accessSupport Workday user file validation and identify data issues (no integration ownership)Document recurring issues and escalate trends to IT or vendors Vendor & Stakeholder SupportPartner with platform vendors to resolve defects and support ticketsSupport internal stakeholders (L&D, HR, IT) with platform-related questionsCreate and maintain documentation, FAQs, and standard operating procedures Required Qualifications5+ years of experience supporting enterprise LMS/LXP platformsBachelor's degree in Learning, HR, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong knowledge of LMS administration, learning assignments, and reportingExperience working with SCORM and/or xAPI contentAbility to execute against defined processes and requirementsStrong documentation and communication skillsExperience with platforms such as Cornerstone, Degreed, and/or WorkdayEOE StatementEOE (including Disability/Veterans)
