The Dentist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, extractions, and preventive services. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical and dental histories, interpreting radiographs, and discussing treatment options and care plans with patients in a clear, respectful manner. The Dentist will collaborate with dental assistants, and front office team members to ensure efficient scheduling, smooth patient flow, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Additional duties include documenting all care in the practice management system, staying current with clinical best practices, and contributing to a positive, patient-focused culture.QualificationsDoctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental schoolActive California dental license in good standing; DEA registration preferredProficiency in comprehensive general dentistry, including diagnosis, restorative care, preventive care, and basic oral surgeryCommitment to evidence-based practice, infection control standards, and patient safetyStrong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options and obtain informed consent in an accessible mannerAbility to work collaboratively with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff in a fast-paced clinical settingComfort using digital radiography, electronic health records, and basic practice management softwareHigh level of professionalism, reliability, and ethical judgment in all aspects of patient careWillingness to participate in continuing education and stay current with developments in dentistryExperience in a community- or family-focused practice setting is beneficial
