Summer Success ProgramLearn It Systems is a national education organization whose mission is to help all children succeed in school and in life. We are excited to find great people that share our passion to help children and their families.The Summer Success Program offers an opportunity for Title I eligible students in Orleans Parish to enhance their math and reading skills. You will be given lesson plan examples, resources, and curriculum to plan lessons for your group based on their needs.Compensation: $30 hourlyGrades: Incoming 1-7 math, reading and STEM, 3-7 students per groupResponsibilitiesPlan and teach engaging math, reading, and STEM lessons for grades K-7Assess students' progress and adjust instruction accordingly.Communicate with parents regarding students' progress and areas for improvement.Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.Take daily student attendance.QualificationsActive Teacher Certification preferred, not requiredBachelor's degree in Education (or related field) preferredPrior teaching experience in grades 1-7 reading and math.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons.Additional Details:Must be comfortable and confident teaching grades K-2 math and reading.Must be comfortable and confident teaching grades 3-7 math and reading.Training will be held prior to the start of the program to review expectations, curriculum, and lesson planning.BrainQuest Curriculum will be provided but you will be responsible for daily lesson planningProvide own laptop for documentation purposesRequired completion of Archdiocese Virtus TrainingPlease Note: accepting an offer equates to full commitment for the entire duration of the program.
