Jr MPT Analyst

This position is Contingent Upon award Objective: Our Junior Manpower, Personnel and Training (MP&T) Analyst will be responsible for technical analysis and report development to support the development of Navy Manpower, Personnel, and Training documents. Responsibilities: Conduct analysis and read/understand Naval Instructions; Identify MP&T impacts in program operations using quantitative and/or qualitative methods; Apply processes that involve planning, fact-finding, analyzing, and evaluating data, reaching conclusions, preparing recommendations, gaining acceptance, and adjudicating changes; Conduct analysis and studies of operational programs/systems such to validate MP&T impacts to the overall program; Prepare comprehensive written reports containing recommendations and supporting data that justify MPT impacts; Effectively interface with all offices associated with an assigned project; Ability to use NAVSEA data bases/programs Additional duties as assigned. Employment Status: Full-time. Salaried. Exempt (40 hours per week). Qualifications: Four or more years’ experience active duty U.S. Navy; Ability to read, interpret, organize and synthesize source material into well-written, concise technical style reports in approved formats; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Able to effectively communicate directly with others; Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Computer programs including MS Project; Ability to work independently; Knowledge of Navy training programs/support systems; Knowledge of U.S. Naval ship systems including HM&E and major weapons systems; Ability to achieve a “Secret” security clearance preferred; US Citizenship required.
