#25-26-20 ERICS ERSS Social Worker

Special Education Erics Erss Social WorkerUnder the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Student Services' ERICS (Educationally Related Intensive Counseling Services) ERSS (Extended Recovery and Support Services) Social Worker will be responsible for providing direct mental health services to students with intensive needs, including individual, group, and parent counseling, consultation, and treatment coordination to students and families to improve school performance. Services will be provided in both the school and home settings to support service delivery and safety planning as outlined in the student's IEP, support their social-emotional goals and educational access.Qualifications: Education: The ERICS ERSS Social Worker is required to hold a Master's Degree and license in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Knowledge and Skills: The ERICS ERSS Social Worker should have an extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices and possess the ability to implement student and family services with fidelity within the school and home settings, including: demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relations with certificated and classified employees, parents, pupils, and the community. Abilities: The ERICS ERSS Social Worker should have the ability to organize and present ideas effectively in oral and written form. Ability to meet state standards of physical and mental health. Valid California driver's license and appropriate transportation vehicle.Qualified candidates must submit all items listed below.
