BARBACK - THE PALM BAR

Job OverviewThe Barback facilitates the smooth service of the bar by assisting and supporting Bartenders and Servers to ensure prompt service and satisfied guests.Reports to: Lead Bartender and F&B ManagementEssential FunctionsResponsible for completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, and cleaning the bar areaMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area including tables, chairs, floors, and walkwaysWash and polish glasses and other serving equipmentCommunicate with bartenders and wait staff to ensure and maintain guest satisfactionEssential QualificationsMust be available any time on the weekendsAt least one year of experience as Barback preferably in a boutique hotel or resort environmentPrevious customer service experience strongly preferredMust be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with guests and coworkersKnowledge of wine and liquor preferredActive food handler's certificate is preferred
