Hiring: Senior / Principal Photodetector Product EngineerLocations: Ann Arbor, MI OR Lowell, MA (Onsite)Full-Time Permanent OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Photodetector Product Engineer with a strong background in optoelectronics/photonics to support product development, manufacturing, yield improvement, and product reliability activities.Key Responsibilities:• Support photodetector products through development, production, and sustaining phases• Drive improvements in product performance, yield, reliability, and cost• Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams• Analyze manufacturing and test data to identify trends and improve processes• Support new product introduction (NPI), failure analysis, and root-cause investigations• Collaborate with internal teams and external manufacturing partnersRequired Skills:• Strong knowledge of photodetectors and optoelectronic devices• Experience with yield analysis, SPC, and reliability testing• Hands-on experience with Python, MATLAB, SQL, JMP, or Excel for data analysis• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to work in cross-functional engineering environmentsQualifications:• Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or related field• 5+ years of experience in optoelectronics/photonics product engineering• Experience supporting products from development through productionThis is an onsite opportunity offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
