Human Resources Manager
Growing Manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resources Manager. Essential Roles and Responsibilities Overview: Define, manage and oversee activities relating to staffing, employee education, training and development, management development and succession planning, employee relations, affirmative action, and benefits and compensation administration.Act as a liaison between management and employees by addressing questions, resolving workplace issues, and administering company policies and procedures. Oversee the full recruitment / talent acquisition life cycle, including identifying staffing needs, posting jobs, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new hires. Administer and process all personnel actions such as new hires, terminations, and job or compensation changes. Manage compensation, benefits, and performance management systems to ensure competitiveness and compliance. Manage payroll processing and validation. Handle employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability plans, and other company-sponsored programs. Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation to promote a positive and productive work environment. Organize and coordinate on-the-job training for new hires, technical skills training, and other employee development and training needs. Advise leadership on HR policies, including equal employment opportunity, workplace conduct, and compliance matters. Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and terminations. Represent the organization in personnel-related hearings, investigations, and compliance matters. Audit benefit invoices and payroll deductions to ensure accuracy and consistency. Partner with leadership to align workforce planning with business needs, including monitoring headcount relative to operational demands. Prepare and deliver monthly reports and presentations on HR metrics and organizational updates. Maintain internal communication efforts, including employee updates, recognition initiatives, and company announcements. Coordinate employee engagement activities such as recognition programs and appreciation events. Perform other related duties of similar nature and scope as assigned.Safety & Compliance Responsibilities:Oversee workplace health and safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Manage workplace incidents and workers’ compensation claims from initial report through resolution. Conduct safety training and ensure ongoing compliance through regular audits and retraining as needed. Investigate and resolve safety complaints and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions. Support and promote a culture of safety across the organization.Requirements / Qualifications Overview: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Demonstrated experience in recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning. Knowledge of compensation, benefits administration, and payroll processes. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
