Akkodis is seeking a Software Developer for a Contract with a client in Bloomington, IL. This role involves migrating BPM processes to AWS using serverless architectures, building state machines and APIs, and ensuring seamless integration, testing, and monitoring of cloud-based workflows.Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Software Developer Job Responsibilities include:Analyze and translate legacy IBM BPM workflows into AWS Step Functions state machines for migration.Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.Develop and deploy workflows using Amazon States Language (ASL) and manage complex data transformations.Build and maintain integrations between AWS services and existing BPM systems for seamless operations.Create infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.Perform testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting using CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray to ensure reliable workflow execution. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.4-6 years of experience in software development with focus on BPM and AWS-based solutions.Strong expertise in AWS Step Functions, AWS Lambda, and IBM BPM/BAW for workflow migration and orchestration.Experience in building serverless architectures, API integrations, and using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK) for deployment and automation.
