ABOUT THE ROLE
Performing tests of incoming raw materials and in-process testing for the manufacturing operation of Malarkey Roofing Products under supervision to ensure that they meet quality standards. This position also conducts quality audits to assist in plant trials.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Responsible for adherence to company policies, including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
Auditing manufacturing processes.
Performing chemical and physical property tests under supervision.
Inspecting finished products and partners with manufacturing to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
Performing data entry on multiple platforms (SQC, Access, Excel).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
AS/BS Degree in a scientific or technical field; OR HS Diploma/GED with previous technical or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, flexibility in work schedule, and the ability to work overtime.
Must be reliable, able to work in a team setting, maintain a positive attitude and remain calm in stressful situations.
