NDT Level II Radiographic Inspector
Job Title: NDT Level II Radiographic InspectorLocation: Clifton, NJPrioritized Must Have Skills for the NDT Level III Radiographic Inspector:#1. High School Diploma or GED#2. NDT Level II Radiographic Inspection certification per NAS 410#3. 3 to 5 years of experience performing non destructive testing in a manufacturing environment#4. Experience interpreting inspection standards such as ASTM E 1742 and AMS 2175#5. Experience operating radiographic inspection equipment and documenting inspection results.Responsibilities Of The NDT Level III Radiographic InspectorPerform radiographic nondestructive testing on aluminum castings using assigned inspection techniquesFollow industry standards and internal processing procedures during inspectionsConduct required process controls according to ASTM E 1742 standardsInspect aluminum castings for defects and discontinuities using acceptance criteria such as AMS 2175Document inspection findings including defect location, type, and severityMaintain inspection documentation in accordance with quality management system proceduresFollow internal NDT procedures and related quality documentation requirementsProvide guidance and training to Level I technicians on NDT techniques and proceduresRequirements Of The NDT Level III Radiographic InspectorHigh School Diploma or GEDNDT Level II Radiographic Inspection certification per NAS 4103 to 5 years of experience performing nondestructive testing in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of dimensional inspection tools and shop mathematicsExperience performing NDT in aerospace or precision manufacturing environmentsExperience with both film and digital radiographic inspection methods
