Sr. Systems Analyst - PLM- Remote

Job TitleEnsures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systemsReviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systemsWorks with AMS to ensure performance, security and compatibility of PLM systems and integrated authoring toolsUpdates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipmentActively participate on teams representing inter/intra IT organizationsConducts research on hardware and software products to support recommendations and purchasing effortsCreate system design proposals, functional specifications, and test protocols for intended use (unit testing) including integrations and data migrationsDocuments solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear codePerform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisionsWorks with IT peers to support PLM integrations including but not limited to: Master Data, CAD, Distribution Systems, ERP's, Manufacturing ApplicationsProactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protectedSupports PLM Operations with knowledge of Windchill vaulting, publishing, database, integrations, performance management and all System Administration UtilitiesMedical Device Industry experience preferredWindchill PTC Thingworx Application and Mash-up DevelopmentTechnical IT certifications preferred
