We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Check out our many videos to learn more! http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/SummaryUnder the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will respond to customer inquiries regarding company products and services, process customer phone orders, check availability of stock and shipping dates, quote prices, fill orders to customer specifications, process sales data via computer, and assist the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products.Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:Responding to customer inquiries regarding company products and servicesProcessing customer phone ordersChecking pricing and availability of stock with suppliersFollowing up with suppliers for shipping datesQuoting prices, filling order to customer specifications and processing sales data via computerAssisting the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing productsQualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:Industrial Distribution Sales with an emphasis on Safety with 2-3 years experience is helpful Industrial products knowledge and mechanical aptitude a plusSafety product knowledge helpfulKnowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent communication skillsShould be attentive and pose a high drive to learn new product linesPrior inside sales/customer service experienceData entry skills, organization, multi-tasking and customer focus is requiredRegular in-person attendance requiredAdditional InformationPhysical Demand:N/AWorking Conditions: Office EnvironmentTraining/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., some overtime as necessary.
