RN - Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Surgical - NightsBayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Med/Surg Surgical unit team at St. Joseph's Hospital. This med/surg surgical unit specializes in pre and post op surgical patients, mainly GI/GU, trauma patients and any general surgery. The RN responsibilities include: Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Professional accountability and development. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Qualifications: Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS Certification, if required by department Nurse Specialty certification is preferred Education: Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred Experience: 6 months of RN experience is required.
