Senior Accounting Manager
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be hands on with the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex environments involving multiple entities, multi-currency transactions, and a solid foundation in public accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of driving continuous improvement within the accounting function.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities.Participate in accounting operations for multiple entities, including consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and consolidated financial reporting.Participate in multi‑currency accounting processes, ensuring proper currency conversion, valuation, and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS, as required) SOX Compliance and internal policies.Coordinate internal and external audits, leveraging public accounting experience to streamline audit processes and maintain strong documentation.Strengthen internal controls and implement improvements to accounting policies, procedures, and workflows.Support cross functional teams, including Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Operations, by providing accurate financial insights and guidance.Participate in month end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and system enhancements.RequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.6-7 years' experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, or Accounting Manager.Public accounting & SOX experience (audit or advisory) is requiredDemonstrated experience managing multiple entities and complex organizational structures.Hands-on experience with multi-currency accounting, intercompany, consolidations, and international financial operations.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.Proficiency with accounting systems (ERP) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.Active CPA or CMA is required.Experience with ERP implementation or optimization, preferably Workday Financials.Preferred QualificationsBackground in multi-national or high growth organizations.Bilingual in Spanish a plusPrefer ideal candidate be located in the Orlando, FL are but open to remote work situation for the right candidate.Core CompetenciesLeadership and decision-makingAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingTime management and organizationAttention to detailAdaptability in fast paced environmentsCross functional collaboration
