Doctor of Medicine | Dermatology Location: Jackson, MI Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the PositionLocumJobsOnline is working with SalviaCore Solutions to find a qualified Dermatology MD in Jackson, Michigan, 49201!ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality dermatological care in an outpatient clinic setting, primarily focused on medical dermatology (approximately 90%) with secondary cosmetic services (10%).Manage a high procedural volume; approximately 80% of patient visits involve procedures, ranging from skin tag removals to complex skin cancer biopsies.Maintain an efficient clinical pace, typically seeing 4-5 patients per hour.Utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation and patient tracking.Collaborate with a professional multidisciplinary staff within a Level 2 trauma-designated system to ensure seamless patient care and practice growth. Qualifications & CredentialingBoard Status: Must be Board Certified in Dermatology. We will consider truly Board Eligible candidates within one year of graduation, with the requirement to become Board Certified within three years of graduation. Candidates with lapsed certifications are not eligible.Licensure: Must possess a current Michigan medical license or be willing to obtain one.Certifications: BLS certification is required (or must be obtained).DEA & Controlled Substances: A valid DEA and Michigan CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to the start date; no exemptions are permitted.Clearance & History: A clean malpractice and license history is required. Candidates must provide a recent NPDB Self-query Report (active within 30 days) at the time of presentation.Immunizations: Proof of flu vaccine is required.Visa Support: H1B visa candidates may be considered; however, J1 visa support is not available for this role.Employment Requirements: This is a permanent W2 position; 1099 or locum tenens arrangements are not available.
