Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer - AutoCAD, AASHTO, ODOT - Mansfield, OH - JOB 26-00062 Salary Range: $60K - $110K Permanent Position with Benefits. Have the ability to work from home occasionally. A privately held civil engineering & survey firm is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer to perform bridge, highway, land development and/or drainage design. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university. The successful candidate will need to be able to perform bridge, highway, land development and/or drainage design. Strong experience with AASHTO, Ohio DOT and other pertinent design manuals. Able to pay close attention to details. Able to spot detailed differences and follow example designs or plans. Seeking candidates that possess a professional work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in both field and office. Strong initiative but will ask questions if they don't understand how to proceed with a design or project. Sufficient experience to know how to self-educate regarding new or unfamiliar design methods. Proficient with AutoCAD MS Office; Word & Excel experienced Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
