The region is also home to over 25 wineries, breweries and cideries.This is the setting for Keswick Hall, an impressive 80-room luxury boutique hotel nestled on 600 acres which recently re-opened in 2021 after renovations. Home to the prestigious Keswick Golf Club, Marigold Restaurant, by Jean-Georges, a new luxury spa and sports and aquatics center. Keswick Hall is seeking a Hotel Banquet Director for multiple outlets and shifts.The Accounting Intern will support the Finance team with daily accounting functions, reporting, and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment, offering exposure to financial operations, reconciliations, and internal processes while developing practical accounting skills.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and account reconciliationsSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, and income audit processesHelp organize, review, and communicate vendor invoicing and corporate expenses.Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.Package and mail receiving organization and communication.Assist with collection and reporting of daily revenue data.Help maintain daily cost credit entries and reconciliations.Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operationsPerform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCECurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldPrior internship or work experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required.However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSNone requiredQUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESBasic understanding of accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to learn and take initiativeSUPERVISIONPosition functions with supervisionPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to sit for extended periods while working at a computerOccasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to operate standard office equipmentUNIFORM REQUIREMENTBusiness professional or business casual attire in accordance with Keswick Hall & Club standards
