After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.Duration: 12-month contractLocation: Sterling Heights, MI (Onsite)What You’ll Be DoingThe Software Integration and Test Engineer plans and performs a variety of tasks across the areas of integrating hardware modules into a combat vehicle system, integrating software items onto Linux Operating Systems, scripting, networking, cybersecurity hardening and scans, troubleshooting, problem solving, and software verification testing.Develop, debug, and execute automated and manual requirements-based software verification testing.Integrating and testing software with various real-time operating systems such as Linux/Unix derivatives. What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in STEM field is required.Must have experience developing, analyzing, and/or reviewing requirements for safety critical real-time embedded software.Integration of software applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a must.Must have experience with Computer Networks (switches, VLAN, protocols).Testing and troubleshooting Communication protocol software (CAN, Serial, Ethernet) is required.Ability to build and maintain a software and hardware integration testbed.Git and Jira/Gitlab Configuration Management tools experience is required.
