Enabling functions may operate as a center-led global team, providing a central strategy, structure, and standards; or as business partner teams, with resources embedded within the businesses to deliver business unit-specific results.Job SummaryThis position will be responsible for all accounting and finance functions at the Bridgeton, MO Manufacturing facility. The tasks will include, but are not limited to: Monthly close activities for the facility, annual and monthly forecast, variance analysis and financial report outs to the plant leadership team and Senior leadership. The role will also be an active participant on the Bridgeton leadership team for the oversight and leadership of budgeting and evaluating manufacturing costs versus established standards including variance analysis, accounting for other cost of sales accounts, and analyzing budget variances. This will include monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and budgeting.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesBe an active participant of the Bridgeton Leadership team and the financial business partner for the Bridgeton Manufacturing facility.Prepare, present and provide guidance on the financial performance to the Bridgeton Leadership team.Partner with Operations to determine, implement, track and report on cost savings initiatives.Develop the annual operating plan (AOP) for the Bridgeton facility.Complete the monthly journal entries and the accounting close process for the Bridgeton facility.Analyze Purchase Price Variances and Purchase Order Variance.Review Scrap, and various spend categories and communicate results with Bridgeton Leadership.Perform labor analysis and reporting.Responsible for the annual standard cost setting process for Bridgeton including setting Overhead rates, analyzing routes and setting Raw Material Cost.Perform year over year standard cost analysis for Bridgeton.Review, analyze and roll costs for all new products for Bridgeton as needed.Work with the New Product Development team to ensure accurate cost estimates for proposed new productsReview and approve cycle count results.Provide detailed Inventory reporting by product line.Facilitate excess and obsolete review and disposals.Review and Monitor all Capital Expenditures to ensure projects are on budget, on time and meet financial projections of the projectMaintain and provide EHS metrics.Assist and communicate with internal and external auditors.Education and Experience ProfileRole not eligible for sponsorshipBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance requiredExperience working in a manufacturing/plant environment required5 or more years’ experience in Accounting or Operations Finance requiredAdvanced user of Microsoft Excel requiredKnowledge of SAP is highly desiredRequired SkillsRequires creativity in problem solvingAbility to multi-task effectively and efficientlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsRequires refined organizational and time management skillsFocus and drive towards industry leadership and best practicesHigh degree of integrity and work ethicsWork EnvironmentWorking Conditions: Both an office and manufacturing environmentThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this job/classification.
