Data Analyst III Healthcare Analytics

This role involves analyzing extensive datasets to extract value that influences business decisions. The position supports Medicare cost of care analytics by examining claims and cost trends. It requires identifying outliers and investigating drivers such as diagnosis codes and payment methodologies. The individual will turn complex claims data into clear insights for senior leadership.Required Qualifications and SkillsThe role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a Master's degree being preferred. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management, or 2 years of IT experience. Healthcare analytics experience is preferred. A working knowledge of SQL/querying languages is necessary. Preferred knowledge includes programmatic coding languages like Python and R, statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques, and modern business intelligence and visualization tools such as Microsoft PowerBI.
