Livestock Hauler

In this role, you will safely and efficiently transport livestock from farms to customers while ensuring animal welfare remains the highest priority. Team members operate company-provided trucks with 30–40 foot trailers and work closely with customers, farms, and fellow team members to ensure safe, timely, and professional deliveries.We are committed to your success. Experienced livestock haulers provide full training and ongoing support throughout the onboarding process.Position OverviewThis position is considered full-time with some scheduling flexibility. No weekend work is required, although occasional holiday work may be necessary.Compensation is variable based on availability, with typical weekly earnings ranging from $1,500–$2,000 per week. Employees are paid weekly. Benefits will be discussed during the interview process.Essential ResponsibilitiesSafely transport livestock from farms to customersPrioritize animal welfare during loading, transportation, and unloadingOperate company-provided truck and 30–40 foot trailer safely and professionallyConduct pre-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including tires, fuel, oil, and overall equipment conditionConduct post-trip inspections, fueling, and identifying maintenance concernsMonitor livestock condition during transport to ensure safety and welfare standards are maintainedAssist with loading and unloading livestock as neededEnsure all loads are properly secured and complete prior to transportComplete delivery forms and maintain accurate transportation recordsObserve and comply with applicable regulations and requirementsReport equipment maintenance needs promptlyMaintain excellent communication with customers and team membersFollow all company standard operating procedures and safety expectationsMaintain a clean driving record and excellent safety recordQualifications & Work RequirementsMust be age 21 or older with a good driving recordCurrent CDL Class A license preferred or willingness to obtain CDL AExperience driving a truck and gooseneck trailer with strong backing skillsAbility to bend, crawl, and work in all weather conditions for short periodsAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 poundsComfortable using or willing to learn to use livestock handling tools such as a cattle prod and paddleMust possess a personal cell phoneStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsTeam-oriented mindset with willingness to ask for help and support othersStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriatelyExperience following standard operating proceduresStable work history preferredHigh School Diploma or GED preferredProfessional experience working with large animals preferredExperience working outside of a climate-controlled environment preferredAdditional Helpful Experience & SkillsExperience handling livestockAgricultural or farming backgroundExperience transporting trailers or equipmentIf you are looking for a career with a supportive team, steady work, and opportunities to grow, we encourage you to apply.
