Location: Mineola, NYDuration: Full-TimePay: Up to $90,000 per yearOverviewA large banking organization is seeking a Financial Advisor Associate to support client acquisition, relationship management, and wealth advisory services within the Mineola, NY market. This individual will work directly with clients to understand their financial goals and deliver tailored investment and insurance strategies while partnering closely with internal teams to drive growth and referrals. This is a highly client-facing role with strong earning potential and long-term career growth within wealth management.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary financial advisor for clients, delivering personalized wealth management, investment, insurance, and financial planning guidanceBuild, manage, and retain client relationships through proactive communication, ongoing consultation, and annual reviewsAnalyze client financials including income, cash flow, assets, liabilities, and long-term financial goalsRecommend tailored investment and insurance strategies aligned to client objectivesGrow and manage a client base by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationshipsLead the end-to-end client onboarding process including discovery, financial analysis, documentation, and account servicingPartner with retail and small business teams to generate referrals and identify new opportunitiesCollaborate with internal partners to deliver comprehensive financial solutionsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, firm policies, and industry standardsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree strongly preferredSIE and Series 7 requiredActive Life and Health certification and Series 66 (or equivalent), or ability to obtain upon hireStrong knowledge of wealth management products and servicesProven consultative sales and business development skillsStrong communication, organizational, and time management abilitiesAbility to build relationships and partner cross-functionallyAbility to travel locally within the assigned market and maintain a consistent client-facing presenceWhat Makes This Opportunity Stand Out?Opportunity to build and grow your own book of business within a strong banking platformHighly client-facing role with strong relationship-building and advisory exposureClear career path within wealth management and financial advisoryClose partnership with retail and business banking teams to drive referrals and growthUp To $90,000 per yearExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
