General Manager - Restaurant

Showtime Hospitality is seeking an experienced General Manager and Assistant General Manager. Summary of Position: Completely responsibility for all aspects of restaurant operations, both BOH and FOH. Works as a team with the rest of the management staff to ensure the best possible overall guest experience while maintaining a highly professional, efficient, and motivated staff. Complete 4 wall P&L accountability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensures the highest standard of food, service, atmosphere and employee image in keeping with the mission of the company. Approves all schedules, time off requests and ensures payroll budgets are met. Oversees all hiring, ensures proper training practices and all disciplinary action and is present for all terminations Monitors and ensures food and beverage cost budgets are maintained or improved. Daily Responsibilities: Present during peak periods including, but not limited to holidays, weekends, nights, and Sunday brunches. The work week expectation is between 45-50 hours. Maintains great guest relationships and deals with all aspects of guest service as they arise during each shift. Monitors and supervises the completion of monthly inventories for food and beverage. Qualifications: High school or equivalent level of education, course work in management preferred. 2+ Hospitality management experience. Able to transport 50 lbs., and frequently able to maneuver food tray up to 25 lbs. Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS Knowledge of employment laws, health codes, and safe food handling and sanitation. Expert knowledge of both FOH and BOH operations Skills/Aptitudes: Ability to make quick decisions. Ability to delegate and direct a large staff. Great people management and communication and skills.
