Senior DevOps Engineer
This position requires an experienced software engineer who specializes in node.js and AWS Cloud technologies to join the Venstar Cloud Engineering Team. You will be involved in the efforts to develop and enhance the services for the current and future cloud connected Venstar devices and products.

Skills And Requirements:
Education:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar areas of study
Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years working experience with planning the team structure, activities,
and involvement in project management activities
Minimum of 3 years working experience with setting up tools, required infrastructure,
and selecting + deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
Minimum of 3 years experience in reviewing, verifying, and validating the software
code developed in cloud native projects
Minimum of 3 years building web and AWS services with evidence of adhering to
industry standard security principles
Expert in identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing
vulnerability assessment and risk management
Excellent understanding of cloud application design processes
Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs and interfacing with API endpoints
Proficient with AWS databases and storage services
Proficient in Javascript concepts (TypeScript is a plus)
Excellent grasp of fundamental computer science concepts, good at solving complex
technical problems, and using common design patterns
High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance

Salary: Ranges from $130,000 - $150,000+
Additional Compensation: $10,400 a year for meal allowance
