Armed Public Safety Officer

A Large-Scale Community Association is seeking Full and Part Time Public Safety Security Officers responsible for the daily patrol of Association property. Job Duties: Enforce the rules and regulations of the association, including but not limited to traffic calming efforts. Conduct amenity checks on all association facilities, noting any unlocked doors and secure property as directed to prevent any type of loss, accident, injury, or safety violation. Open, close and secure all association facilities in accordance with established times and procedures. Provide property security by performing patrols throughout the community on a regular basis and complete timely security reports. Respond to conflicts, medical and operational emergencies, or natural disasters in an efficient and professional manner. Serve as liaison to emergency response professionals Position requires working a rotating schedule that is varied and may include holidays. Must be highly motivated, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm in difficult situations. Must have a minimum of 1-year professional experience in security or public safety. Must have an active Act 235 certification and a valid driver's license. Wage commensurate with experience.
